What if now is all we have?

I am a founder, creative, and writer who builds companies and products at the intersection of technological systems and human connection.

I believe the best things should feel timeless and inevitable.

My work spans enterprise cybersecurity and art, with a focus on how humans survive, connect, and heal inside the infrastructure we create.

About me

I believe life is both stranger and more beautiful than fiction. I’ve advised on some of the largest and most complex financial transactions of all time, invested in and built companies across sectors that I believe in, and written and painted my way through harrowing experiences navigating metastatic cancer.

Now I'm building the world I want to exist through a new studio for the timeless.

I am the co-founder of Batuta, an Enterprise Security Posture Management company, where I led strategy and execution and built multinational teams from zero to more than 100 people worldwide. I previously founded Neopolis, an out-of-home virtual reality company that partnered with Mattel and others to bring thousands of users into large-scale, free-roam virtual environments.

Earlier in my career, I was an investor at IVP, deploying over $140 million into high-growth technology companies. Before that, I worked in Financial Institutions Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan, advising on more than $280 billion in equity and debt financings, including major strategic transactions such as the divestiture of GE Capital from GE. I began my professional career at Phase Capital, analyzing high-frequency trading strategies.

I graduated from Brown University with honors in Economics and competed on the Division I nationally ranked crew team.

I am most often found between San Francisco, airplanes, somewhere in the woods, the liminal spaces of hospitals, events I am creating, and the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

My writing

I write about love, life, cancer, and the miraculous thrill of being alive through The Live Now Club on Substack. My philosophical and analytical inquiry drives me down frequent rabbit holes, and occasionally, back up with something useful. I am passionate about living magically, choosing joy, and the spiritual wonder of light coming through trees. Sometimes I write poems. Sometimes I write books. Sometimes I interview others. Sometimes I paint my words instead.

Advisory

I work with founders on strategy, fundraising, positioning, and the existential questions that come with building something real.

Investment

I invest at the earliest stages in consumer, culture, health, infrastructure and intentional living. If you're building something that honors how people actually want to live, I want to hear about it.

Speaking

I speak about building companies, surviving cancer, and living deliberately.
